5G router is more practical
5G is a wireless network. Under the existing technical conditions, the network speed of the wired network is definitely much faster than that of the wireless network. Moreover, as the resolution of TV and mobile phone screens becomes higher and higher, the volume of online video will become larger and larger, and the requirements for the speed of the network are also increasing. In the initial stage of 5G development, the network speed of 5G networks may not be able to meet the needs of users for network speed.
The quality of the technology determines the quality of the market, but the satisfaction of the user is the key.
At present, the theoretical downlink speed of 4G networks is about 100 Mbps, but since there are many users who need to serve each mobile base station, the bandwidth allocated to each user terminal is usually only about 50 Mbps.
While 5G theoretically can achieve broadband above 1Gpbs, and even reach 10Gpbs in the later stage, the bandwidth speed that can actually be provided to users may never be so much.
Because the number of base stations of the operator is limited, the total bandwidth of each base station is so much. With the arrival of 5G, the number of users increases, the bandwidth allocated to each user will be less and less, and it is necessary to upgrade 5G. At the network speed, more base stations must be built, and the operator's input cost will be large and it takes a long time to build.
Of course, in the later 5G development, the new smart device may bring its own chip that can directly access the 5G network, so it is really unnecessary to use the router. However, if the original smart device in the user's home does not have a 5G chip, I have to replace it all, which is also a big investment.
At present, everyone has certain expectations for 5G. In fact, the theoretical speed of 5G network is very different from the actual speed.
For example, if the 5G mobile phone signal is not good or the population around the base station is dense, the network speed is definitely not good, and 5G is difficult to achieve the same network coverage as 4G. Coupled with the limitations of technology, signal quality and spectrum, it is difficult to replace the router with 5G network.
