Industrial dual sim 4g router with captive portal
The authentication server supports both HTTP and HTTPS web connections. You can set up authentication to allow access by guests and authenticated users. The authenticated user's database must be verified before granting access. In addition, you can configure a captive portal to use the optional HTTP port (supports HTTP proxy networks). If this additional port is configured, it is exclusive to the captive portal.
E-Lins dual sim 4g router can support captive portal function, you can contact our salesman for more information. The captive portal of the wired interface allows the client directly connected to the switch to be authenticated using a captive portal mechanism before granting the client access to the network. When a wired physical port is enabled for a captive portal, set the port to the cap-portal-enabled state to remove all traffic from the unauthenticated client to the port except for ARP, DHCP, DNS, and NETBIOS packets. Both will be deleted. The switch forwards these packets so that unauthenticated clients can get an IP address and resolve the hostname or domain name.
All HTTP/HTTPS packets from unauthenticated clients point to the CPU on the switch and are used for all ports that are enabled for the captive portal. When an unauthenticated client opens a web browser and attempts to connect to the network, the captive portal redirects all HTTP/HTTPS traffic from the unauthenticated client to the authentication server on the switch. Force the web portal web page to be sent back to the unauthenticated client.
