The RM500Q from Quectel is a 5G NR sub-6 GHz module, compliant with 3GPP Release 15 specifications and capable of both 5G standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes of operation. This module supports LTE Category 22 connectivity with integrated GNSS and eSIM. It optimized specially for IoT/eMBB applications and is ideal for global deployment. The module integrates Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem with RF transceiver, RF Front-End (RFFE) and antenna elements from Qualcomm Technologies. It supports Qualcomm IZat location technology Gen8C Lite (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo). The RM500Q module is designed for enterprise and mobile broadband applications such as fixed wireless access, mobile hotspot devices, Always Connected PCs, and public safety and surveillance applications.

Available in an M.2 form factor, the RM500Q is compatible with Quectel LTE-A Cat 6 module EM06, Cat 12 module EM12 and Cat 20 module EM20, which will facilitate customers to migrate from LTE-A to 5G.

Quectel RM500Q-GL is a 5G module optimized specially for IoT/eMBB applications. Adopting the 3GPP Rel. 15 LTE technology, it supports both 5G NSA and SA modes. Designed in an M.2 form factor, RM500Q-GL is compatible with Quectel LTE-A Cat 6 module EM06, Cat 12 module EM12 and Cat 20 module EM20, which will facilitate customers to migrate from LTE-A to 5G.
