What are the networking methods of 4G industrial router with DTU
GPRS general wireless packet service (GPRS) is a wireless packet switching technology based on GSM system, which provides end-to-end, wide-area wireless IP connection. GPRS makes full use of the Shared wireless channel and USES IP Over PPP to realize high-speed and remote access of data terminals. As the transition technology (2.5g) from existing GSM network to the third generation mobile communication, GPRS has significant advantages in many aspects.
The networking of GPRS wireless monitoring system is relatively simple. GPRS DTU can directly connect with user devices throughRS232 orRS485 interface.
Data terminal (GPRS DTU) access: GPRS users can choose CMNET and APN access network, CMNET is usually used for public users, APN for industry users, usually in a group, users need to set user name and password, better security. In addition, APN users can apply for fixed IP addresses tied to mobile intranets.
Data centers are a little more complex to network. According to the application field of GPRS, we provide various application forms of data center networking scheme for reference of developers. The choice of network form is mainly decided by the amount of service data, reliability requirement, data confidentiality and network condition.
Scheme 1: GPRS MODEM access mode (monitoring center is used as data terminal to bind fixed IP address)
This scheme is suitable for enterprises that have no access to Internet and have high security requirements. Suitable for applications with low data bandwidth requirements, such as data acquisition system using Polling transmission protocol; All data runs in the GPRS network. Direct communication between all GPRS terminals is required; Fixed IP address of GPRS data terminal access point in data center. (i.e. at least one SIM card with fixed IP address)
Scheme 2: Internet access (the monitoring center accesses wireless network via the Internet)
Enterprises have stable and permanent access to the Internet; The router port address of the enterprise end and the IP address of the monitoring center should be public and provided by the ISP that provides Internet connection for the enterprise. In this case, the client should first apply to the Internet operator for fixed IP of the public network. The center USES the public network to fix IP, and the monitoring point initiates the connection directly to the center. Or the client company has a server connected to the Internet and has fixed IP of the public network. However, considering the stable operation of the server, other application software is usually not allowed to be installed on the server. Therefore, the GPRS data center system cannot be installed on the server.
This scheme is good in real-time and stability, but the cost of using public network fixed IP is relatively high.
Scheme 3: private line access mode (the monitoring center is connected to wireless network via DDN private line)
This kind of scheme is suitable for enterprises not having access to Internet or considering high security, and it is suitable for financial, securities, industrial monitoring and other industries. When enterprises access China mobile's routers through special lines, the access routers at the client end must provide public IP addresses.
Solution 4: dynamic IP solution
For the application system without fixed IP, the networking mode is the same as "fixed IP access". The key to solving the problem lies in the data center. Currently, there are two solutions:
1. SMS sending IP
When the IP address of the data center is changed, the central terminal can inform the terminal device of the latest IP address and inform its connection through SMS. SMS can be sent through the Internet or USB port GPRS modem.
2. Dynamic domain name resolution
There are a few things to prepare for when using dynamic DNS.
The first is Domain Name. You need to apply for a set of tertiary or secondary Domain names.
The second is the need to go to the domain management center to specify the dynamic DNS service.
When preparatory work is completed, will get a Client from Domain management center software, used to maintain the dynamic IP and Domain Name, after the data center computer boot, you can obtain a dynamic IP from your ISP in, again with DDNS server through Client software online and refresh the Domain Name and IP control, GPRS terminal can be through the DNS for the Domain Name of the positive and negative interpretation, and then establish a connection.
